A much needed vacation!

We all went to Clearwater, Florida this past week for a much needed vacation. It was Caleb's first "real vacation" and mine and Ricky's first week long vacation in four years. It was wonderful, relaxing, fun and I'm wishing I were still there. My parents invited us along on their vacation and it was so nice to have them there to help "play" with Caleb. Ricky and I definitely wouldn't have gotten out very much without their help!

Caleb LOVED the sand, beach, pool and everything else there. He is our little "explorer" and he did exactly that all week long. It was a chore chasing him all week and trying to keep him from drowning himself and eating all the sand on the beach!

Caleb is getting VERY funny. Here is what he did when I told him to say cheese:

He even had fun playing in the condo. In almost every picture he has a knot or bruise on his head. Here he is loving on himself in the mirror!

A Birthday Party and Bathtime Fun!

This past weekend Caleb's cousin Becca turned 1. Becca and Caleb are only 2 1/2 months apart so they are pretty close. Becca's birthday is a sure sign to me that Caleb's 1st birthday will be here before I know it. Here are some pictures of the birthday party. Becca had a great time eating her cake!!

Well, we officially decided tonight that since Caleb can climb out of his infant tub then we should probably put it in the attic along with everything else he has outgrown. Sniff Sniff... Anyway, here are some pictures of him playing in the tub. I told Ricky that we need to keep a raincoat in the bathroom for whoever gives him a bath becuase we end up having to change clothes after the bath because we're soaked!!
